Visit ancient dungeons

Bring your child’s medieval fantasies to life. Fort Hamilton, built to protect Hamilton Harbour in the 1870s, offers spectacular panoramic views, well-tended lawns, winding pathways and terraced gardens. Your kids may be more enthralled by the cannons, ramparts, dungeons and moat.

Pop in on a golden lion tamarin

At the zoo! See more than 100 species of indigenous fish in ocean and reef environments, including the spectacular 550,000-liter / 145,000-gallon North Rock exhibit. Animals from the Caribbean, Australia, Asia, Madagascar, the Galapagos and Brazil, such as the endangered lion tamarin, keep it lively in the zoo.

Bike across the island

Bike or walk from one end of Bermuda to the other along this scenic route far from any motor traffic. The Bermuda Railway Trail is ideal for walking, jogging, biking and horseback riding. Rent bicycles so your family can visit parts of our island off the beaten track.
